Our Story
Clermont started with a simple idea: the things we bring into our homes should make the time we spend there better.
Life moves fast. And as we've found ourselves spending more time at home, we've come to appreciate just how important those quiet moments are. The slow mornings. The nights on the couch. The few minutes at the end of a long day when you can finally put everything else aside.
Home should be the place where you can relax, reset, and feel like yourself again.
When we started looking for the perfect blanket for our own home, we found plenty that looked beautiful and plenty that felt soft. But finding one that combined exceptional softness, substantial weight, lasting quality, and a design we actually wanted to leave out in our home was harder than it should have been.
So we decided to make it ourselves.
We obsessed over the details, from the feel and weight of the fabric to the stitching, texture, size, and finishing touches. We weren't interested in making another throwaway blanket. We wanted to create something better, something you'd reach for every night, live with for years, and genuinely look forward to coming home to.
Why Clermont?
The name is personal.
Clermont is the street we live on, and it's where these blankets were first imagined and designed.
It's where we unwind at the end of the day. Where friends and family gather. Where Sunday mornings move a little slower. And ultimately, where the idea for this company became real.
Naming the brand Clermont felt like a reminder of why we started in the first place.
Because we believe your home isn't just where you live. It's where you recover from everything outside of it.
Our hope is that a Clermont blanket becomes a small part of that ritual for you. A reason to slow down, get comfortable, and give your body and mind permission to reset.
